Converting to Pending#

Converting a Draft PO to Pending is the pre-flight check before sending.

Requirements#

1. At least one complete line item (ingredient + positive quantity + unit).
2. The vendor must have an email address on file.
3. No broken line items. A line item becomes broken if the unit of measurement used in its price is later deleted — rare but possible.

What happens on conversion#

• The PO is locked — no more edits.
• Fillet takes a snapshot of all the PO data: vendor name, email, your info, delivery destination, line items, prices, notes. This snapshot is permanent.
• Line item prices are based on the vendor’s prices at the time of conversion to Pending — not when the draft was created.
