Creating a Draft PO#

To create a Draft PO, you must select a Vendor. That’s the only required field at creation.

You must also have a business address on file before you can create any Draft PO. Fillet uses it as the default Delivery Destination.

Line Items#

A line item is a row on the PO — one ingredient, a quantity, a unit, and a price.

At the Draft stage:

A PO can have zero or more line items.
Ingredient, quantity, unit, and price are all optional on a draft line item.
You can only add ingredients that have a price for the selected vendor.
The vendor cannot be changed after the PO is created. If you selected the wrong vendor, delete the draft and start over.
