Vendors#

A Vendor is a supplier you purchase ingredients from. Vendors don’t need a Fillet account — they’re just entries in the system.

Key points#

• Only a name is required to create a vendor.
• Each vendor has a Vendor Profile with optional fields: Business Name, address, phone, and email.
• If a Business Name is set, it’s used instead of the vendor name on purchase orders and documents.
• Deleting a vendor removes all its prices, but the ingredients themselves are not deleted.
